Tensions Rise: Pakistan Demands Action to Stop Cross-Border Terrorism
Pakistan has taken a firm stance, presenting its demands to mediators in an effort to curb cross-border terrorism. Foreign Office Spokesperson Tahir Hussain Andrabi announced that talks with the Afghan Taliban regime began in Istanbul, with mediators present. The Pakistani delegation presented evidence-based demands, aiming to end terrorism originating from across the border.
The Spokesperson highlighted that the mediators support Pakistan's position, based on the evidence provided and international law. They are currently discussing Pakistan's demands with the Afghan Taliban delegation in detail. But here's where it gets controversial... Addressing Misinformation and Allegations
Andrabi also addressed claims of Pakistan denying entry to members of the Hindu community. He firmly rejected these allegations, calling them baseless attempts by India to distort facts. He clarified that Pakistan issued over 2,400 visas to Indian pilgrims, primarily Sikh, to participate in the birth anniversary celebrations of Baba Guru Nanak Dev Ji. He noted that while Pakistan facilitated entry for 1,933 pilgrims, approximately 300 legitimate visa holders were denied entry by Indian authorities.
He emphasized that Pakistan's immigration process was smooth, and those denied entry lacked proper documentation. He stated that these individuals would be allowed entry once they provided the necessary documents. He refuted the claims that entry was denied on religious grounds, stating that Pakistan welcomes pilgrims of all faiths.

Responding to a question, the Spokesperson stated Pakistan's key demand to the Afghan Taliban: preventing the infiltration of Fitna-al-Khawarij and stopping them from operating on Afghan soil to kill innocent Pakistanis.

Andrabi also addressed the ongoing war mongering from India, urging the international community, including the United Nations and the United States, to take notice.
