Hi,

If your HDD has a guid partition table, the current OS will have to be installed in 'uefi' mode - the only way around this would be to reformat the drive with MBR and reinstall the OS using a boot option ( cdrom or flash drive ) that does not have a (uefi) suffix.

Regards,

DP-K

Hi,

You can do this as follows.

Shutdown the notebook.

Tap away at the esc key as soon as you press the power button to enter the Start-up Menu and then select the Bios Menu ( f10 ).

Under the System Configuration tab, expand the Boot Options Menu.

You need to set Secure Boot to Disabled and Legacy Devices to Enabled.

When done, press f10 and select to save the changes.

You may then have to enter a 4 digit pin displayed on the screen to confirm the setting changes - enter the code ( there will be no graphical display of the numbers you enter ) and hit enter.

Regards,

DP-K
