The 43-meter Christensen motor yacht Daydream has been sold, marking a significant milestone in the luxury yacht market. This iconic vessel, known for its spacious accommodations and luxurious amenities, has found a new owner through the expertise of Peter Hürzeler and Adrian Soos of Ocean Independence, who represented the seller, and Erhan Dogru of CRM Yachting, who introduced the buyer. Daydream, built in GRP by a renowned US yard to a design by Howard Apollonio, was delivered in 1991 and has since undergone continuous upgrades to maintain its status as a highly sought-after charter yacht. The latest enhancements include a full repaint in 2022, ensuring its timeless appeal.
Daydream offers generous accommodation for up to ten guests in five well-appointed cabins. The main deck features a full-beam master suite with a king-sized bed, while the lower deck boasts two double and two twin cabins, all equipped with televisions and full en suite bathrooms. The yacht's large saloon provides a comfortable space with seating, a bar, an entertainment system, and a formal dining area for 10 guests.
The aft deck is ideal for al fresco dining and entertainment, while the sundeck above offers additional outdoor dining areas with rattan chairs and a large table. This deck also includes a wet bar, Jacuzzi, outdoor cinema, and panoramic views. The bridge deck provides further relaxation and breathtaking views, featuring seating, a games table, and an outdoor terrace, as well as the yacht's powerful tenders and a range of water toys.
Powered by twin 1,450hp Detroit Diesel engines, Daydream achieves a top speed of 18 knots, a cruising speed of 12 knots, and a range of 3,500 nautical miles at 10 knots. With a beam of 8.2 meters and a 2.3-meter draft, this yacht combines performance and stability. The asking price for Daydream was €3,100,000.
